Service and Outreach
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
This is known as the Great Commission. Jesus' disciples are sent out to teach others about the loving, redemptive work of Christ. As His followers, we, too, are called to go and make disciples.
Within our congregation, we strive to serve others by ministering to them. We believe that our actions and outreach can be a powerful witness for the Gospel. We do so in far-flung areas of the world, and also to our neighbor next door.
Our service projects and outreach have included global missions such as supporting a local missionary to Africa, Heifer International, and Operation Classroom. Locally, we support Falls Delivered Meals, the local food shelf, and All Feathers Ministry.
